Kulgam, Jan 30 (KNO): Defying financial constraints, a passionate ninth-grade student from south Kashmir's Kulgam district has achieved an extraordinary feat by publishing five books within a year. Bhat Faisal, son of Bilal Ahmad Bhat, hailing from Okay village in Kulgam, has overcome numerous obstacles to author five books, at the tender age of 14, featuring a collection of over 400 poems and essays. Speaking with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Faisal expressed his profound love for writing, particularly poetry, and his ambition to become a renowned poet. He said, “I am passionate about writing, especially poetry, and I aspire to become the best poet. So far, I have written five books, four of which contain poetry and one with essays.” His five books, titled "Golden Words", "Identification of Life", "Medicine of Minds", "The Motivational Tongue" and "The Lightness of Being" delve into themes such as nature, love, society, divine power, spirituality, and separation, showcasing a collection of over 400 poems and essays. “The five books are the outcome of my spontaneous instincts and relentless work over the past year, despite facing numerous obstacles in publishing them due to a poor financial background," he said. Bhat urged the government to support talented youth and ensure their remarkable talents find a platform. “The government should step in to support talented youth and ensure their talents are showcased," he said. Faisal said the writings of literary luminaries like Rabindranath Tagore, William Shakespeare and Mirza Ghalib have fascinated and inspired him. When asked about publishing five books in a short time and how he manages his studies, he said, “I have a well-managed timetable, it is crucial for effective time management and helps to save my precious time.” Faisal expressed gratitude towards his parents for supporting his journey and encouraged fellow youth to identify their unique talents and work on them with dedication. “My parents supported me in my journey to pursue my dreams, and I will continue to write with dedication. Every youth must work on their dreams with full dedication, as everyone has a unique talent," he said, adding that the key is to identify that talent and work on it with hard work—(KNO)
